By trade, I'm an archaeologist, but I am also a struggling writer and small-business owner. I am the co-founder of Broke Guys Productions LLC, a start-up company devoted to writing and selling creative properties such as screenplays, novels, and short stories. We hope to expand into graphic novels/comics, video games, etc. in the future when we are able to pull more artists into our creative fold. My partners and I have finished four feature length screenplays, several short stories, and our first novel. All of these properties are currently being shopped to producers and publishers.

This is a great new site for me to play with as I love to browse a wide variety of artwork. From museums to these digital forums, I find that art opens me to knew ways to see, think, and feel.

You read that right, my fellow deviants, I am a published novelist as of this very month.  And not self-published mind you (not that there's anything wrong with that).  My co-writer and I went the hard, slow road to traditional publication but ended up with a great midlist publisher.  Dark Oak Press and Media (formerly Kerlak Publishing) took a chance on our fantasy-horror series and bought the first novel to publish in hardcover, paperback, and ebook.

In order to fulfill a promise to his master, Kaladimus Dor, disastrous mage of Myth, must do whatever it takes to get the secretive contents of the chest in his possession back home. After shipwrecking himself on a long-forgotten island, Dor must cooperate with a motley crew of survivors to secure their only means of escape from the island before they are consumed by its ravenous inhabitants, both living and undead.

Created by co-writers Jeremy Hicks and Barry Hayes, the CYCLE OF AGES SAGA is a hard-hitting entry into the fantasy-horror genre. Although a standalone story in its own right, the spec screenplay for COAS: FINDERS KEEPERS introduces an epic, evolving storyline slated to run several chapters in its entirety.

THE CYCLE OF AGES SAGA: FINDERS KEEPERS is now available on Amazon at the following link:…

Or you can find it on Barnes & Noble here:…

If you're local to the area (or want me to drop it in the mail to you), you can buy a paperback or hard copy from us and have it shipped directly to you.  In that case, paypal is both of our friends.  Contact me via private message to find out more.

If you know anyone who'd be interested in this type of novel, please pass this along.  This is our first novel and we could use all the positive press we can get. :)

Thanks!  You read'em and we'll keep writing them.
