Wanted: Artist with Graphic Novel and Layout Exp.

Fri Oct 9, 2009, 8:48 AM
My start-up company is seeking an artist willing to work on spec for a project. We're trying to turn the storyline for our script, FINDERS KEEPERS, into a graphic novel.

FINDERS KEEPERS is the first installment of a five film fantasy franchise known collectively as THE CYCLE OF AGES SAGA. In a world engulfed by war, Kaladimus Doore, an accident prone magician, races home to the port of Myth. Disaster strikes as his stormy nature shipwrecks him and a contentious, diverse group of survivors on a forgotten island. The group must seek out the Hallowed Vessel, their sole means of escape, while being stalked by a nocturnal winged predator. FINDERS KEEPERS is part of a rich, detailed fantasy environment created and developed over more than a decade. The storyline introduced in this initial installment will span a series of five feature films with the possibility of expanding into novelizations, graphic novels/comics, video games, role-playing games, an animated series, toys, and various other distribution channels.

We need an artist familiar with graphic novel layout and design and who can work from the concept art created by our illustrator/graphic designer, Dwayne Adams. The graphic novel will most likely be a black and white format as it plays to the strengths of the concept art and reflects the high contrast/high concept style that will form the back bone of FINDERS KEEPERS and other CYCLE OF AGES SAGA installments. If you're interested, get in touch with me through Deviant Art or send email to jeremyhicks@juno.com. If you've got a friend who you think would be ideal for this project, please pass this along to them. Thanks.

I'm an archaeologist who's going to business school. In my spare time, I write. Working on a screenplay, the first of a series of them, with my partner and trying to get a company started. This is a great new site for me to play with as I love to browse a wide variety of artwork. From museums to these digital forums, I find that art opens me to knew ways to see, think, and feel.

Your work is amazing. Saw what you did for Ms. Eerie and had to take a look at your entire gallery. How long have you been doing this style of artwork? Do you sell prints of them?
:iconpinupaday:
WOW - thanks for the compliments ... I have been doing this variation on the pinup style for about two years.

I do sell prints ... what are you interested in ?
:iconpsilocybinkid:
Let me get back to you on that ...it's really a question of how many I can afford right now ...LOL! I wouldn't mind having them all. :D
